AICUF

    AICUF       The unit of All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) encourages students to come up successfully to the forefront of society through Workshops, exposure programmes, leadership camp and seminars. The AICUF with its motto “Service to man is the service to GOD” aims at helping the members to grow in the fullness of Christ and to develop into potential leaders. In addition the college provides facilities in leadership training, Theo radio programmes, and community welfare programs. Coordinator Dr.Ancy A.S.   PSYCHOLOGY CLUB 2019-21 Coordinator : Dr. Neena Thomas President      :Aparna AS Secretary      : Parvathy VM   As a part of B.Ed curriculum, different clubs were formed in our college. Psychology Club   was formed as a part of it. We conducted different programs in one year spreading through two semesters, and has reached the second academic year. Due to COVID 19 Pandemic most of our activities from April onwards is through Social Media Applications.     Our activities in the first and second semester include PSYCHOLOGY CORNER, a competition conducting in every possible week and a WORKSHOP on MENTAL STRESS AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT.   1. The class conducted by Balachandran sir.   PROGRAMME 2 : PHOTO CHALLENGE.                                 Report :Eco club conducted by B.ed second semester of Mar Theophilus Training College.   Behalf of this pandemic situation of Corona Eco club have   conducted a photo challenge on 16-08-2020 from 8pm to 9 pm, the theme for this photo challenge was ' Save the Nature'.Total 26 participants attended .winners selected through final judgement. Winners are as follows Ashitha Raj   (First prize), Rhea joy ( second prize ) , Anupriya ( Third prize )    
  READING    &    ORATORY     CLUB       The   reading   and oratory club functions under the guidance and    specialized    expertise   of   our respected   teacher educator Dr. Joju John.   This club was one of the earliest clubs to start functioning as it offered a communicative English course every morning   for about fifteen minutes. On 16 th july 2019 we selected its president and secretary . This club conducted a galore of interesting activities like self introduction,   just a minute ,story telling, narration, and many more like some word games . Some time was set apart for grammar classes as well. On   8 th august 2019 there was a training program by Joseph Varghese sir , research faculty of SCERT. This went on for the entire first semester till 21 st October 2019.   HEALTH CLUB REPORT (2019-2020) CLUB COORDINATOR – DR.LAJI VARGHEESE   PRESIDENT   -   ANJU LEKSHMI S (PS) SECRETARY – ARYA KRISHNAN U (SS) REPORT Health club released a video named ‘SWAASTHYA’ in remembrance of Jose sir. The video depicted the problems faced by students during online classes and the solutions to overcome it.The video was appreciated for the relevance and quality. Students thanked us for making them aware of the simple exercises that can be done to reduce the health problems due to prolonged use of computer and mobile phones.
