·       Imagine that you are a passenger in the same bus in which Rosa has travelled and you witnessed the incident. Write your diary on that day. (Teacher shows the format of diary for students to write)

Teacher`s Version

The story becomes interesting as we read each paragraph. In this paragraphs we learned that, what Rosa did was a good thing. She thought and understood that, like the white passenger she is also paying fare to travel on the bus. So she has the same right to sit as him. So she decided not to give up her seats. She also made us understand, if a rule is unfair, which ought to be fair. Then it ought not to be in the rule book. Which means if a law is unjust, it will affect the entire population. So it need to be righted.

What we should understand is, we should follow the rules build by the government. But we should not blindly follow them. We should understand the importance of having self respect, freedom, and to respect everyone and to consider everyone as equal. But when we protest against something, then it should be in a right way.

(Teacher shows a quote by Nelson Mandela and showed a video of great people who fought agaist inequality and false practices in India)
